Google Data Access
DIA-ry offers an optional Google Sheets backup feature. If you choose to enable it, the app will request permission to access Google Sheets in your Google account.
What permission is requested: Read and write access to Google Sheets.
Why: To create and update a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive where your health records are backed up. This spreadsheet belongs to you and is under your full control.
What data is sent: Only the health records you explicitly choose to sync (e.g. blood pressure readings, pulse, weight). No other data is accessed or transmitted.
What DIA-ry does not do:
- Does not share your data with third parties
- Does not use your data for advertising or analytics
- Does not access any Google service other than Google Sheets
- Does not store your Google credentials — OAuth tokens are kept securely on your device only
You can disconnect Google Sheets at any time from DIA-ry Settings.
Privacy
DIA-ry stores health tracking records locally and syncs across your devices via iCloud (CloudKit) when enabled.
If you connect Google Sheets backup, selected records are copied to your Google spreadsheet account to support your own backup workflow.
